Change, Transformation & Healing

Simon Hinch Counselling, Coaching and Trance work is a provider of Collaborative Competency based Psychotherapy, which builds capacity, enhances performance & aims to facilitate optimal mental health in all those I have the privilege to work with. I am keen to connect and collaborate with all those that are interested in the processes of change, evolution and the facilitation of transformation. Through the integration of various therapeutic approaches and philosophies we can begin to realize that at the core of any disturbance exists the seed of its healing. While seemingly counter intuitive, the ontological view which understands our problems and disturbances as aspects of a greater whole, can allow us to perceive that within those parts of ourselves that we deny, that we desire to change; exists information and energy which can assist in our integration and hence transformation. Our deepest problems if listened and attended to carefully, can provide us with a path of evolution, as stated by Jung: 'Taking it in its deepest sense, the shadow is the invisible saurian tail that man still drags behind him. Carefully amputated, it becomes the healing serpent of the mysteries' Extending upon this it is useful to recognize that within any individual or relational system there already exists the resources necessary for change to occur. Buddhist,Taoist & Hermetic philosophers would all agree that change is fundamentally constant and inevitable. It is all around us and within us. What is needed often however, is someone to help channel and catalyze this flow in the desired direction. This is the role of the therapist, coach and facilitator, not an expert in your problems or your healing but someone who can help open the gate to the transformation that has already begun.
